The Mauto Matita d’Oro award has gone to Giorgetto Giugiaro. Exceptional master of ceremonies Piero Chiambretti, who handed over the prestigious award to Cav. Giugiaro in the presence of more than 400 guests at the "Avv. Giovanni Agnelli" National Car Museum of Turin. Giugiaro is the first winner of the prize: an "Oscar" to the career of the father of historic cars such as the Panda, the Punto and the Volkswagen Golf.
